Shropdoc CEO Daniel Robinson shares his insights from across Shropdoc with a view to highlighting the great work of staff as well as updates on key developments at the organisation and across the local health economy.
Our Shropdoc shufflers went the extra mile in October and took on the daunting challenge of climbing Cader Idris.
The trip was arranged by Dr Simon Chapple as an outing for the Shropdoc Shufflers, who are made up of staff from across the organisation who like to get out and about each month for walks or ‘shuffles’.
Palliative care is something we take very seriously at Shropdoc - indeed, we launched our new Palliative Care Line in March 2020 and it has proved hugely successful.
Our role is to help people, be on the end of the phone for them, come to their aid and ‘keep the patient at the heart of everything we do’.

The first of the new Corporate Shropdoc Induction days took place in Shrewsbury this Summer.
New starters were welcomed to the beautiful setting of The Trinity Centre, Meole Brace, for the induction on July 5th, 2022 - the first event of many for new Shropdoc employees.
Our behind-the-scenes Shropdoc team members are an integral part of our service - and our Primary Care Assistants (colloquially known as ‘Drivers’) take on a very important role.
