Job Post: Shropdoc GP Member

Shift: Out of hours, various opportunities
Rate of Pay: Competitive out of hours rates of pay
Are you an enthusiastic and experienced General Practitioner looking for something a bit different? Wondering how you can support the existing out of hours primary care service in Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Powys? We are always looking for new members to join our GP membership for either - or a combination of - the following:
- Face to face base shifts including home visits, with a driver (at one of our 8 Shropdoc bases)
- Triage shifts (from our headquarters at Longbow, in Shrewsbury)
Shift times are variable, so you can pick what works best for you in the location of your choice. If you’re out at base, you will be supported by our experienced and knowledgeable drivers and when triaging from Longbow, you’ll be supported by one of our Shift Leaders and be working with other clinical colleagues. We offer Triage Training and regular group training sessions with fellow clinicians to provide insight into real cases out of hours and encourage a learning a reflective atmosphere.
