Out of hours provider Shropdoc will host an awards ceremony to mark the huge success of the service and its staff.
Around 1000 people in a small Powys village now have access to a defibrillator thanks to out of hours provider Shropdoc. Bronllys is a village at the foot of the Black Mountains between Brecon and Talgarth and a fifth of the population of around 1000 are aged between 60 and 80 years.
Shropdoc has achieved the prestigious Customer Service Excellence Standard.
Shropdoc, local provider of GP out of hours services and other NHS services, have linked up with a local junior football club and donated Defibrillators to their football teams.

This winter a number of local pharmacies are being funded to provide advice and support to people on the management of common ailments, including where necessary, the supply of over the counter medicines (OTC) free of charge, for those people who may have otherwise gone to their GP or other healthcare provider.
