Say hello to our new team member!

We've welcomed a new face to the team with Katie Mulliner taking up the role of Deputy Head of Operations.

Katie has a background in Pharmaceutical Marketing and Primary Care having previously worked in a GP Practice in Hampshire.

Primary and secondary care

Starting her working life as a receptionist, Katie moved through the departments to become part of the Practice Management Team, and within this role, she was involved with the PCN, the Out of Hours hub and the management of the global pandemic within her locality, as well as helping to drive local projects.  

Nicky Wilde, Head of Operations, said: “Katie recently moved to Shropshire and joined the Medicines Management Care Home Team within NHS Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Integrated Care System, formerly the Clinical Commissioning Group.  

“Katie was project lead and collaborated with Primary and Secondary Care to drive these forward, as well as assisting with improving the quality of care whilst reducing costs across the counties.

“We are really pleased to welcome her to the Shropdoc team.”

Performance, delivery and development

Katie will be supporting the Head of Operations in the performance, delivery and development of Shropdoc’s portfolio of Primary and Urgent Care services across England and Wales.  

Together with the Clinical Services Delivery Manager, Katie will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the operations department.
