Reaffirming our Commitment to the Armed Forces community

As Armed Forces Day approaches, Shropdoc is proud to once again show our continued support for the men and women who serve - and have served - in our Armed Forces.

Across the UK this month, the Armed Forces Day flag will be raised in towns and cities, signalling the start of a week of recognition and appreciation. Events will shine a spotlight on the entire Armed Forces community - from regular and reserve personnel to veterans, cadets and military families.

Reserves Day on 25th June gives particular recognition to those balancing civilian life with military service, before Armed Forces Day is marked on 28th June.

Our ongoing commitment

In 2023, Shropdoc proudly signed the Armed Forces Covenant, formalising our pledge to support the Armed Forces community throughout the year - not just on Armed Forces Day.

By signing the Covenant, we recognise the significant contribution made by current and former members of the military, including their families. This includes welcoming and supporting veterans and reservists in our workforce and ensuring that our services are accessible and responsive to the needs of those who serve or have served.

We remain committed to upholding the Covenant’s principles, standing with other organisations, communities, and individuals across the UK in support of the Armed Forces.
