Defibrillators for Llanymynech Junior Football Club.
Shropdoc, local provider of GP out of hours services and other NHS services, have linked up with a local junior football club and donated Defibrillators to their football teams.
Emmanuel Le Goff, Shropdoc Operations Director said we are delighted to support organisations in our local community. We were made aware that Llanymynech f.c. had trained all their managers to use defibrillators; it happened to coincide with spare machines being available due to a scheduled replacement of our equipment at Shropdoc Primary care Centres. Those defibrillators being still in perfect working condition, as an organisation we felt that providing lifesaving equipment to the community we serve was a demonstration of the values we promote as a Social Enterprise.
Llanymynech Juniors run teams at all age groups including both boys and girls, with a keen and hard working group of volunteers, who give up many hours of their spare time for others. The team spread themselves far and wide participating to local clubs and sporting events throughout the season.
We believe that the increased availability of defibrillators and an easier access to them in situations of need can only contribute to saving more lives.
