Up to £28,000 – £35,000 (pro rata)
30 Hours
(Full-time considered for right applicant)

* Hours would be flexible from time to time depending on the practice requirements.

You would be working at Whitchurch Claypit Street Medical Practice, employed by Shropdoc who are a medium sized not for profit organisation based in Shrewsbury.

We are looking for an organised, methodical, enthusiastic and flexible, Practice Manager to join our friendly team.

The successful candidate will work closely with Lead General Practitioner and existing Practice Team to ensure the smooth running of the Practice.

Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential, as is computer experience, use of EMIS and understanding of clinical coding and the ability to work as part of a team.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised business qualification at diploma level or above and or have equivalent and relevant experience together with Management or Supervisory experience ideally from a health service/care background.

“Shropdoc service is in good health

I would like to make a comment on the Shropdoc Service which I have been very impressed with over the past two weeks. The service and attention given by Drs McMurray and Lovell during their visits to my home has been fantastic. Being a senior citizen aged 91, I was very concerned with my state of health. The reassurance and medication given by these two doctors certainly improved my condition. Furthermore, the time taken to visit me was very quick and responsive. I feel some of the bad publicity on the NHS Shropdoc service is not warranted and not a true reflection of the excellent service I received during the past two weekends. Many thanks to all concerned….much appreciated.
