Tudor Surgery: Salaried GP or Locums

Tudor Surgery is a close-knit practice with 4,500 patients situated in the market town of Nantwich, South Cheshire. We share purpose-built premises with on-site community staff.

We require a Salaried GP or regular locums to cover up to 5 sessions with immediate effect. We are happy to consider innovative proposals to support a satisfying work-life balance. The post(s) may evolve into a Partnership, if desired.
The successful applicant(s) will work independently but are encouraged to attend regular clinical meetings, to support clinical governance and to be involved in reflective practice. You will also be invited to assist with the development of QOF and other clinical protocols.

The Practice currently provides the majority of consultations by telephone, with around 40% of calls resulting in face-to-face consultations.

We have excellent nurse-led chronic disease management and achieve high QOF points. We are fully EMISweb computerised, teach students and are undergoing assessment as a training practice.

“Shropdoc service is in good health

I would like to make a comment on the Shropdoc Service which I have been very impressed with over the past two weeks. The service and attention given by Drs McMurray and Lovell during their visits to my home has been fantastic. Being a senior citizen aged 91, I was very concerned with my state of health. The reassurance and medication given by these two doctors certainly improved my condition. Furthermore, the time taken to visit me was very quick and responsive. I feel some of the bad publicity on the NHS Shropdoc service is not warranted and not a true reflection of the excellent service I received during the past two weekends. Many thanks to all concerned….much appreciated.
