We are an expanding not-for-profit company providing a range of medical services for patients 24/7 365 days a year. Our services include the provision of urgent medical services for patients when their GP surgery is closed.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our rota team responsible for ensuring that all rotas are complete and published in accordance with laid down timescales. Working closely with the Senior Operations Manager to ensure appropriate planning and effective day to day staff cover. Duties will include assigning staff to cover rota shortfalls, along with liaising with Line Managers and Cluster Managers to effectively manage staff annual leave and sickness absences. You will be Supervising and supporting the rota team on a daily basis, chairing daily team meetings, to plan and allocate work, undertake job chats, appraisals, and plan any training learning and development needs of the team.
You will provide support within the team covering GP, Urgent Care Practitioners and Non Clinical rotas along with general administration support within a cluster.
Educated to A level standard with NVQ/ILM level 3 in Leadership and Management, you will also have experience of working with a computerised rostering system, together with Staff Management Experience essential.
You will have experience of working towards tight deadlines and working within a team, dealing with a large amount of information at one time. You should have an awareness of HR issues and working time directives.
You will be friendly and approachable and able to deal with any conflict in a calm and efficient manner. You will enjoy working within a busy team and able to use initiative when necessary.
You don’t need to have worked in healthcare before as long as you possess the above qualities and are willing and eager to learn new skills.
